Why attend the uxTV 2008 Conference?

It's only about TV and Video
This is an exciting time in television! TV is evolving rapidly. Digital video recording (DVR/PVR) deployments are at 25% of households in the US. Ten percent of people in the US watch Internet TV on a daily basis. Next year analog television broadcasting will end in the US, requiring a digital TV or set top box to watch over-the-air broadcast TV. IPTV is giving consumers a new alternative to Cable and Satellite. New generations of consumers expect their TV experiences to be connected across their TV, computer and phone. This conference is focused entirely on the TV and Video interactive user experience.

People
uxTV is an intimate conference, limited to 175 attendees. You will have lots of opportunities to meet colleagues and talk to key designers and researchers from industry, and to academics and students working in the interactive TV and video domains.
